Harriet Tubman
Underground Railroad Visitors Center

NATIONAL PARK SERVICE

We are honored to have worked on the media for the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitors Center, which is now a National Park. With shoots on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, in Washington, DC, and in Auburn, NY, VideoArt conducted more than forty interviews with descendants of Tubman, experts on her life and modern civil rights warriors like Congressman John Lewis. Working with GWWO Architects, we also shot footage of the landscape Eastern Shore, which looks today very much like it did during the days of Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad.
