Leiden Collection in China

November 10, 2017

Visitors in Beijing to the National Museum of China exhibition “Rembrandt and His Time: Masterpieces of The Leiden Collection” are welcomed by VideoArt's introductory film.

"The film has been a complete success. Visitors to the exhibition have been riveted – I came back the day after the opening to find crowds seated on the floor in front of it, totally transfixed."

The Leiden Collection, which is the world’s largest private collection of Rembrandts and Rembrandt School pieces has entrusted VideoArt with telling its story in galleries and online. Martin Huberman interviewed the founder of the Collection, Thomas Kaplan, and renowned curators of Dutch art from museums like The Getty, Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts and London’s Royal Academy.

The exhibition — and its introductory film — is now on view in Shanghai.
